Opera 10 Browser Now In Alpha

Opera Software has released a alpha version of its Opera Browser 10. It will have a new rendering engine called Presto 2.2 which is supposed to be 30% faster than the previous version of Presto. It will also be fully compliant with Acid3. I think that this is a great step no matter what browser you use, because it will inspire competition and give even more features to the next generation of browsers. Congratulations to Opera for taking the first step. And, I know at least one of our iLife writers (Matt Rosenhein) is trying out the new release now, so expect to see an article about it in the near future.
